Become a Member
The French Quarter Business Association has three types of Membership. If you are a business in the district and you pay a tax levy to the City of Edmonton, you are automatically a member of the French Quarter Business Revitalization Zone with full benefits. If you are not already a member and would like to be part of the French Quarter, you can become an Associate Member or Supporting Member.
Associate Memberships
Associate memberships are for those businesses who adhere to the vision, mission and principals of the French Quarter Business Association (French Quarter Business Revitalization Zone) and who wish to associate because of either their close proximity to the BRZ or that they do a good amount of business in the area. Becoming an Associate member is, first and foremost, an effective, practical way of showing solidarity in support of the Business Association.
Benefits of being an Associate member of the French Quarter Business Association:
- be added to the list of Businesses within the BRZ;
- to have their profile published on our web site;
- although Associate members do not have a right to vote, they can participate on Board committees, such as: Street Beautification Committee, Special Events Committee and any committee deemed necessary and created by the Board; (by being a volunteer on a committee this gives a voice in shaping development and growth within the French Quarter district;
- a French Quarter Associate membership through the iRedeem program
- invitations to French Quarter activities and meetings, including the annual General Membership Meetings;
Fees for an Associate Membership are $250.00 annually and renewable in January of each year.
Supporting Memberships
The Supporting Memberships are those individuals, businesses or anyone who adhere to the vision, mission and principals of the French Quarter Business Association (French Quarter Business Revitalisation Zone) and who wish to show support for the French Quarter Business Association.
Benefits of being an Associate member of the French Quarter Business Association:
- This is a support role only
- It is an effective and a practical way of showing solidarity in support of the Business Association;
- These members will be added to a list on the web site. (see below)
Fees for an Associate Membership are a minimum of $100.00 annually and renewable in January of each year.
